James Sanders is available for solo engagements in a customized recital format, a workshop or masterclass setting.

As a soloist, James has appeared:

  • with the Chicago Northwest Symphony performing the Sibelius Violin Concerto;
  • at Trinity College and the Harlold Washington Library in solo recitals; and
  • on the Odyssey cruise ship at Navy Pier performing three years for their weekend dinner cruises.

The James Sanders Music Company is the orchestral contractor for several Chicago area organizations, including: the highly regarded James Chorale and the Harper Festival Chorus.

Drawing from his experience as an orchestral violinist, James Sanders assembles an orchestra of the highest integrity.

Mr. Sanders has more than twelve years teaching experience and has been on faculty at the American Conservatory of Music, DePaul University, Merit Music Program and the Chicago Waldorf School. He currently teaches violin with the Music for Youth Program of Arlington Heights, IL.

For several years, he has been a lecturer at Columbia College illustrating the development of string quartet repertoire through the Classical and Romantic era and performing portions of these works with members of his quartet.
